The Great Gutter Mishap

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall, enjoying the sunny day and the view of the kingdom below. But as he gazed out at the rooftops, he noticed something peculiar – the gutters were clogged!

Humpty, being the curious and adventurous egg that he was, decided to investigate. He carefully climbed down from the wall and made his way to the nearest gutter.

As he peered into the gutter, he saw a mess of leaves and twigs blocking the flow of water. Humpty, determined to help, reached in to clear the blockage. But as he did, his foot slipped on the wet surface, and he tumbled into the gutter!

Down the gutter Humpty went, bouncing and rolling until he reached the downspout. And then, in a flash, he was launched into the air, soaring above the kingdom.

But, as we all know, Humpty’s great fall was not without consequence. He landed with a splat, his shell shattering into a hundred pieces.

The king’s horses and men came to his aid, but alas, poor Humpty was beyond repair. As they gathered up the pieces of his shell, they couldn’t help but wonder – why had Humpty been so reckless?

But Humpty, as he lay there in pieces, smiled to himself. For he knew that he had given his life to save the kingdom’s gutters. And in doing so, he had ensured that the kingdom’s roofs would remain safe and secure for generations to come.

The kingdom mourned the loss of Humpty Dumpty, but they never forgot his bravery. And every time they cleaned their gutters, they remembered the egg who had given his life to keep their roofs safe and dry.
